Loza Jemjem, MD, MPH
Originally from Ethiopia, where she served as a general practitioner for six years, Dr. Loza Jemjem joined Saint Agnes Medical Providers in August 2015.
Dr. Jemjem earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Addis Ababa University Medical Faculty in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She received a Master’s in Public Health/Health Systems Management at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium. In 2015, Dr. Jemjem completed the Woodhull Medical and Mental Center residency program affiliated with the New York University School of Medicine’s department of internal medicine in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Jemjem is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians. She speaks English and Amharic, and feels blessed to have access to technology that enables her to stay connected with her mother and other family members still living in Ethiopia.
Married with one child, Dr. Jemjem enjoys living in the Central Valley and looks forward to growing her practice here.
